Performance Camp

Early March 2025

Experience our Performance Camp, a weekend designed to elevate our top athletes. Participants will master proper lifting techniques and speed training exercises that will significantly boost their performance. Engaging classroom sessions will ensure a thorough understanding of team playbooks. From Friday night to Sunday afternoon, this camp is the perfect opportunity for team bonding while going through the "suck".

Where is Performance camp located?

Performance Camp is located 4.5 hours from DFW.  The facility is designed to comfortably accommodate 52 players and staff, ensuring a focused and supportive environment. This is all-inclusive, lodging, and meals, allowing players to concentrate solely on training. Just bring your workout gear and we will do the rest.

Speed Training

We prioritize your player's safety which is why we only use scientifically-backed techniques, ensuring that athletes can train effectively without the risk of injury. This introduction to speed training will equip your player with the knowledge and skills necessary to workout with a partner or alone. All players will be assigned workout partners they will keep for the season.

WeightLifting

We recognize the importance of safe lifting practices to prevent injuries among athletes. If you have ever had an athlete hurt during their school lift, we will stop that here. We are committed to teaching proper lifting techniques that promote muscle longevity and overall safety. Our strength coach will equip participants with the skills to identify incorrect lifting methods, ensuring they can lift confidently and responsibly. 

Health, Food, and Recovery

You cannot gain strength or get faster without food. We prioritize teaching young athletes the importance of proper nutrition. We recognize that children may not always be in a position to make healthy food choices, and we are sensitive to the impact of family budgets on these decisions. To support our players, we will provide practical guidance on nutritious options, even when dining at fast-food establishments like McDonald's. Additionally personalized meal plans will be developed based on individual responses and household income, ensuring that every player has access to tailored nutritional advice.

Classroom Instruction

This is basketball class 1010. We dedicate time to teaching essential basketball strategies in a structured classroom environment. Players will receive assignments and take turns as temporary captains to foster leadership skills. Our curriculum includes comprehensive playbooks and UIL rulebooks and special situations, ensuring that each participant is well-versed in both strategy and regulations. 

Other Activities

Teams will have the chance to access the pool and all other amenities according to their performance , once they have demonstrated their commitment and earned their privileges. These privileges are initiated in the classroom, during speed training, etc., establishing a solid groundwork for some real fun after demonstrating discipline. 

Meals

We’re thrilled to have a talented chef on board, whipping up delicious meals just for you. Two weeks before camp, you’ll get the chance to fill out a food form to share dietary preferences and restrictions, so we can tailor the menu to your player's taste.
