Payton Boyer gets an invite to Mayville State

The world of high school basketball is buzzing with excitement now that Payton Boyer has shown interest in visiting Mayville State in Mayville, ND. This talented senior is turning heads this season after a standout performance during his junior year.

Boyer, just shy of 6 feet, made his mark at Boyd High School in Texas by averaging an impressive 11.3 points per game. In his junior year alone, he netted a total of 514 points. His remarkable achievements earned him the Newcomer of the Year award for Region 2 District 10. This award recognizes only the top-performing players, highlighting just how exceptional Boyer has been on the court.

After transferring to Alliance High School in Nebraska for his senior year, Boyer did not miss a beat. His new coaches and teammates quickly recognized his passion and skill. He kicked off the season with an outstanding performance, scoring 20 points and dishing out 6 assists on opening night. This strong start indicates his potential for an exhilarating final year in high school basketball.

One of the standout characteristics of Boyer's game is his incredible hangtime. With a vertical leap reaching nearly 38 inches, he seems to defy gravity when going for a dunk. In one game, he executed a slam dunk that left the crowd gasping, illustrating just how formidable he is on the court. Opponents often find it challenging to defend against him when he elevates for a shot, making him a constant threat.

Boyer's statistics this season are equally impressive. He is currently maintaining a solid 79% shooting percentage from the free-throw line, showing his ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities. This combination of skill and athleticism makes him a prime target for college recruitment in a competitive field where only a select few make the cut.

As Boyer prepares for his visit to Mayville State, both fans and scouts are eager to see how he will perform against higher levels of competition. College basketball programs actively seek players who can bring unique talents to their rosters, and Payton Boyer might just be that standout player for Mayville State.
